A staple in my kit! Bioderma créaline H2O Solution Micellaire to be exact. This European gem is unfortunately not readily available but that doesn't stop me, I keep at least one back up of this product at all times. A no rinse gentle cleanser that, "In simple-ish terms, a micelle is a type of molecule cluster. One end of each molecule loves water (hydrophilic); the other hates it (hydrophobic). In a water solution, they group to form a spherical shape with a water-loving exterior and a water-hating interior. When gently applied to a surface — the skin, let’s say — the micelle spheres split open against that surface. When the application pressure lifts, the molecule cluster closes up again, and in the process grabs whatever isn’t water from that surface."
Essentially, the best way I have heard this put while doing research on these cleansers "micelles are kind of like mute Pac-Man types that wokka-wokka-wokka-wokka up all the makeup and dirt off your skin."
I use this to cleanse the skin of all of my clients, though Micellaire sulutions are especially useful on set when you have to apply, remove and apply makeup multiple times, gentle enough that it causes no skin reactions, no sensitivity from cleansing the skin many times over and no residue that will compromise the makeup application.
I personally use Lierac Démaquillant Douceur Gentle Cleanser daily. I deep clean my makeup off at night traditionally then use this in the morning before my skin care routine and makeup application or after the gym to cleanse the skin quickly. This formula contains a Vitamin B5 to encourage eyelash growth. Probiotics and Botanical Inca honey complex: preserves and stimulates skin’s ecosystem and natural defenses, Linseed Flower Extract: Protects and detoxifies, Mallow Extract: Soothes and softens, Paraben-Free and bonus, it smells divine!
Other options I have heard great things about include: Embryolisse Micellar Lotion Soothing and Cleansing Make-up Remover, La Roche-posay Physiological Micellar Cleansing Solution, and Vichy Purete Thermale.
